How may I keyboard-operate the toolbar?

Post by chrisjj »

e.g. having mouse-clicked Select Text:

TAB and SHIFT+TAB are ignored, and Left and Right Arrow vertically scroll (!) the (unlabelled) document window.

I do not know if it will help, and maybe you already know, but nevertheless:

Pressing the ALT-key puts alphabetic- and number-characters near the tabs in the ribbon.
Now you can press the character for the desired ribbon, followed by the characters of the desired icon/option.

See: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxe ... ub=alt+key or

Kind regards.

Hello,

As willy suggested, the Alt+key combinations are the only way to utilize the UI overall with keyboard commands. Do note that the keys do change dynamically to account for custom toolbars and tool positions, so if you have recently customized your UI, the keys may change.
