Hello Forum and Tracker Support,
after working on a file for a few hours, I just got the following error message:
This was because the connection to the file server was lost for about 20 minutes.
I have now re-established the server connection. What do I do now so that the edits to the file are not lost?
Should I simply click on "Reopen..."?
I'm worried, especially since there are also no particularly up-to-date autorecovery files to be found under ...\AppData\Local\Temp\PDFXEdit:
Edit:
O.k. so I went for the "Reopen..." button, and the file reappeared completely including all Edits up to the latest ones.
Lost server connection to open file - what now?

Re: Lost server connection to open file - what now?
Hello David.P,
Yes we need to "Reopen..." the file sot hat we can once again "lock" it and prevent anyone else from making changes to it.
Changes you've done locally are preserved as you found out and upon saving would be applied to the file on the server.
I'd recommend more frequent saving than every few hours though!
Kind regards,
Stefan
