Quickly remove the highlight of the search results

Hi All,

Every time, I need to go to "options"-"clear results" to remove the highlighting results. 1) Any way to add a quick click button of this function to the top instead of keeping it in a drop menu? ) any way to remove the in-text highlight while keeping the right search results panel in place? Thanks.

You can use the "quicklaunch" menu to easily add existing tools/commands to the toolbar, as shown in this article:

Simply search for the "clear results" command, then drag and drop it to your toolbar:

As for removing the search highlight, at the moment no, it is not possible to disable it.
