PDF X-Change Editor Plus Version: 9.5, build 367.0 (Enhanced OCR)
Windows 10 Pro, 40GB RAM, plenty of disk space, tried on multiple disks.

I was able to continue my work by uninstalling PDF X-Change Plus, and then re-installing version 9.5, Build 366.0.
Performing 'Repair' from add/remove Programs did not resolve the issue.

I guess the problem comes from a file that wasn't updated correctly or damaged during the installation of the new version.
May I ask you to uninstall all the PDF Xchange products you have on your computer and restart it?
When the system is loaded again, please use this installer to install your product:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/EditorV9.x64.msi
After that please check if the problem is resolved.
