It would be really useful to optionally have tabs arranged vertically down the side of the window.
It would be very like vertical tabs in Edge browser with a 'pin'option.
A vertical list of the tabs is already avaiable but it would be convenient to have them always visible.
Many thanks

Re: Vertical tabs
Hello, zotric
Thank you for the post, while we have seen a few requests for a UI change to include vertical menu options, at the moment, this is not a planned feature. The Dev team is aware of this, and perhaps they will reconsider it in the future, but for the time being, this will not be changing.
Kind regards,

Thanks for the response, Dan.
It would align you with the Microsoft Edge browser (and maybe others), where they are extremely useful when handling large numbers of open pages.

Re: Vertical tabs
Hello zotric,
The Editor is a PDF software, and not a browser.
So as Dan said above - we can not make any promises that this would be implemented for now. We will keep an eye on the number of times this feature gets requested and might reconsider in the future!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Vertical tabs
Hello all,
this feature request reminds me how awesome the great Mozilla Firefox browser was, decades ago. There was this extension called "Showcase" that provided the browser tabs as thumbnails in a sidebar like this:
Current screenshot showing the Pale Moon browser that still uses the old Firefox XUL codebase
Screenshot showing Firefox in 2007
Maybe this can be an inspiration for a possible feature of PDF-XChange Editor.
Best regards

David P. Reminds me of Microsoft Collections, now superseded by Workspaces.

Hello zotric, David P,
Such a preview is likely going to take up some resources, but I will pass it along to the UI devs for consideration!
Kind regards,
Stefan
