Hello,
is it possible to use the Enhanced OCR in PDF-Tools Batch ( which is included in the PDF-X-Change-Editor) and therfore the multiple output options, especially the option "Fine Page Content" ? I use version 9.5
Thanks.

Re: PDF-Tools Enhanced OCR ?
Hi AELFTWFS,
to use the Enhanced OCR with PDF-Tools you need a PDF-XChange Pro license, or two licenses, one for PDF-Tools and a second for the Editor Plus. Pro is cheaper than buying just the two.
I hope that helps.
warm regards

Hi Paul,
thanks for your reply.
I have a PDF-Exchange-Pro license, can you tell me how to create a batch-job for enhanced-OCR ?

Frank

Re: PDF-Tools Enhanced OCR ?
Hello, AELFTWFS
first you will want to ensure that the Enhanced OCR is enabled in PDF-Tools, this is done from the "options > preferences > OCR".
Once the Enhanced Engine is enabled, simply run any too that contains an OCR step, and the EOCR engine will be used instead of the old default OCR engine.
You may wish to open the OCR action preferences in those tools, and configure whether it is applying "editable text" or "searchable images" however: Kind regards,
