Bullet Indentation and formatting?

Post by TexasDave »

How do I adjust the indentation on bullet lists?

(1) Both the margin from the left
(2) And the spacing between the bullet and text

Mine is currently "too big" on both of the above....

Thanks!

Hello TexasDave,

I am afraid that those spaces are taken from the font's metrics and as such can not be controlled.

Kind regards,
Stefan

The first item might be adjustable with "First Line Indent" in Text Properties. It would also be adjustable using "Left Indent".
The second item might be adjustable, albeit to a very limited extent, with "Hanging Indent" in Text Properties.

A verification video is attached for your reference.

In the video, the "First Line Indent" and "Hanging Indent" in the text properties are increased from 0mm to 40mm in 1mm increments. Note that the "Hanging Indent" seems to be changed every 13mm.

Hello rakunavi,

Many thanks for the video!
Indeed using these you can actually adjust the appearance! Apologies for the incorrect details in my initial post above!

Kind regards,
Stefan
