Change "arrange" of highlighter

Post by MedBooster »

It seems to me that highlighted elements are not moved behind other highlighted elements when I change the "arrange" level to "move to the back/backwards" either by clicking the buttons or using keyboard shortcuts

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?
Seems to be working fine with rectangles etc...

When you like to bring a (base-content)-Text-(box) to the back or to the front of another one, you will have to do this by selecting it via Edit > Text, and then via Arrange, not by doing this via its highlight.

Kind regards.

Hello Willy Van Nuffel,

Thanks!
Indeed the text itself and the highlight are separate objects MedBooster - so you will need to work with each of the two independently.
The highlight will move in the stack of annotation objects, while the text itself will move relative to other base content objects.

Kind regards,
Stefan

In this particular case it is the case of having a highlight shape under another, and wanting to delete it by putting it over the other highlight shape.....

For me, it seems to work by selecting the upper-laying highlight and then right-mouse-click > Arrange > Send to Back.
Then clicking elsewhere to de-select.
After this, you should be able to select the under-laying highlight and delete it.

An alternative way to remove the desired highlight, is to use the Comments pane for this.

Does this work for you ?

Please excuse me not creating a new thread for this, and using a non-relevant thread.

But I am unable to create any new thread

Could you remind us on where to create a new thread?
