Can't get rid of PDF Viewer\PDFXCview.exe "%1" after uninstalling it

I have updated to the latest XChange Editor version. So,I have uninstalled PDF Exchange Viewer and now can't get rid of this old exe file. So, Excel spreadsheets now use it when opening, and I have to tell it to use Excel, PDF Viewer. How do I get rid of this, please? It is really annoying.

The installation of PDF-XChange Viewer is normally in C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF Viewer
If you delete the "PDF Viewer" sub-folder, then all files from that installation should be gone.

To make that Excel -files (XLS, XLSX, ...) will always open with Microsoft Excel:
- in Windows Explorer, right-click on whatever XLS or XLSX file
- click Open With
>> in case you see a tiny shortcut-menu with last option "Choose another program" then click that one
>> After that you will see a larger menu
>> If you do not immediately see Excel, then scroll down a little bit and click "More apps"
- select Excel
- activate the check-box for "Always use this app to open .xlsx files"
- click OK
