?Javascript highlight or bold selected string of characters/words

Post by MedBooster »

I remember there was a thread (that I've been unable to relocate) on this.

Is there a javascript script or a tool to highlight all cases of a particular word for example in PDF xce?

So that all cases of the word "practise" for example gets highlighted, or put in bold/italic, or gets it's text color changed.

I do not remember having ever seen a Javascript for changing the "font color" of specific words on this forum.

I only remember the thread about highlighting words by means of the Search tool:
viewtopic.php?t=36805

You can also change "the look" of the font color of specific words, via the Search tool, but not (yet) the font color itself.

Kind regards.

Hello Willy Van Nuffel, MedBooster,

It might be possible with some JS as well - but using the advanced search and "Highlight Search Results" should be more user friendly than having to edit a JS every time you need to change your search terms.

Kind regards,
Stefan
