Hello all,
We are currently looking into a solution with touchscreen monitors.
Is there a way to zoom in the preview window in Windows Explorer with 2 fingers?
Thank you for your feedback
Best Regards

Re: Preview in Windows Explorer - Zoom with 2 Fingers
Hello Xmedia,
I am afraid that it's only possible with the buttons provided in the preview.
However if you make the preview area larger - it should by default show you larger previews of your files.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan
Thank you for the quick reply.
Is it possible to program this?
Or is it a limitation of Windows?
Kind Regards
Adrian

Hello Xmedia,
I will have to ask our devs - it might be possible, but I can not be 100% certain before I hear back from them!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Indeed we have and I think you are going to like it.
The Feature Request has been formally approved and added to the system. RT#6395: Feature Request :: Editor :: Preview in Windows Explorer - Zoom with 2 Fingers has been raised. I do not have an ETA for delivery of this, ultimately the timing will be at the discretion of the development team.
I hope that helps.

Hi Paul
That sounds good!
I am now asking anyway:
Is it possible that this will be implemented by April?
Kind Regards

Hello, Xmedia
I am afraid that I cannot make any promises on a timeline until we receive a note from the dev team stating that a feature is complete and will be in the next release. In this case, this one has not yet seen that message, so my hands are tied. Hopefully it will not be too long, but I really cannot say with any certainty.
Kind regards,

Re: Preview in Windows Explorer - Zoom with 2 Fingers
Hello Daniel,
I have noticed the following point:
I have installed version 9.1 / build 356.0 on a PC with 2 touch screens.
There, the zoom works with 2 fingers on the main screen in the preview window!
On the second connected touch screen, the zoom with 2 fingers does not work. When PDF X-Change is open, the 2-finger zoom works on both screens.
If I install a newer version, the 2-finger zoom in the preview window no longer works...

Hello Xmedia,
Thanks for the updated information.
Is there a particular reason why you have build 356 installed? Can you please try with 367 and let us know if that makes any difference?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Preview in Windows Explorer - Zoom with 2 Fingers
Hello Stefan,
This was more of a coincidence.
We had used an old .msi file for the installation.
When I install the current version .367, the zoom with 2 fingers no longer works...
Kind Regards

Hello, Xmedia
I am afraid that this item has not yet seen implementation. It has been assigned to a developer, however at the moment we are working through a bit of a backlog, and so this has been delayed as a lower priority item. It is still planned for the future, but as before, I cannot promise a timeline, I can only say that it will likely be a bit longer than we hoped.
