[Suggestion] Right click and drag to move around the page

As an option that you maybe could tick in the settings it would be cool if you would be able to move around the page my holding the right click on your mouse/mousepad and dragging around (as dragging with a left click selects text or makes shapes)

This would be useful if you don't have the keyboard at hand and you would want to do a horizontal scroll, or horizontal and vertical (diagonal) at the same time.

Usually I use shift+ scroll wheel if I just want to scroll horizontally

Hello, MedBooster

If you are zoomed in, you can middle click and move the mouse to pan, for the moment that is likely the best we will offer. I have been asking for a dedicated "pan" button that works regardless of which tool is selected, (like middle-click hold-drag does in numerous other apps), but to no avail.

I will forward this request to the dev team for you, but at the moment, I would advise against getting your hopes up.

basically an option to (temporarily) switch to the hand tool while holding the right click mouse button.

Hello, MedBooster

Yes, I understood, and as mentioned, I have been pushing for a function like this for quite some time. While it may come in the future, it is not something that the Dev team is keen on at the moment. AS such, I cannot make any promises.

Hello all,

In Ad0be Acrobat/Reader, Photoshop, Paint.net and many other programs it is done by holding down the space bar.

This temporarily activates the hand tool, no matter which main tool is active at the moment.

I recommend trying that for once e.g. in Ad0be Reader. It is actually very convenient, and would be great for PDF-XChange Editor as well.

Best regards
David
