Convert Text Files to PDF: Error [PXVLib]: File is empty.

2022-11-18 Cannot create New Document from text File.pdf

I get the error message "Convert Text Files to PDF: Error [PXVLib]: File is empty." when I try to convert a text file to pdf.
The attached PDF shows the steps I took to convert the text file to PDF.
i attached the txt file to the PDF.
the text file is not empty, contrary to the error message.
any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello Mark,

Could you please tell me which version is your PDF editor?

You can see this information in the PDF editor's Help -> About menu.

Dear Dimitar:

Thank you for responding. I think the version is 8.0.342.0
See the attached image:

But, FYI, when I clicked PDF editor's Help tab, nothing happened. I couldn't get to the About option.
I ran control panel's repair to try to get the Help tab to work, but that didn't do any good.
