selection of language(s) upon installation

It would be nice to have in the PDF-XChange installer an option to pick which languages one wants to be installed. This is usual in other software and, given the increasing and large number of supported languages and modules, it will be good to avoid tens of files (which I will never use) being put in my disk. Also, much easier to manage my update of translations.

English is the only language we can guarantee is 100% translated at any time, given that our builds are released only a few days after the translation tool is updated, the vast majority of languages are not fully up to date with each relase (and for that matter, only a small handful of languages are complete enough to reliably offer the choice). The trouble with offering an installation option would be that either we offer a small list of only the most complete options, and people would assume that we do not have any other options, or we offer the complete list, and then numerous people would be upset when the selected language is only 50% translated.
We do default to use the same language that your windows installation prefers, where possible, and English is used as the fallback. Allowing users to manually select through the preferences within the software, is the middle ground that was settled on after much consideration.
It is also worth noting that the language packs themselves are very small (about 35 MB for the entire package, only a few dozen KB per language on average), the language files that are larger would be the OCR files, and those are for the most part, not included by default but must be downloaded before use.
