Request: op.search to process multiple IAFS_Name entries in Input

Post by zarkogajic »

Hi Support,

Could you please "improve" the op.search operation so that it does process multiple IAFS_NAME entries in the Input parameter?

For the moment op.search will process multiple IPX[C|V]_Documents in Input, but only one IAFS_Name.

Why: instead of doing a search in folder (+subfolders) I really need to do a search in multiple documents (not loaded as IPXC_Doc) defined by their file name (in different folders).

Adding an IAFS_Name which is a file (and not a folder) works - but only for the first added entry.

Being able to add multiple IAFS_Name entries would allow to add multiple files but also multiple folders.

p.s.
I know I can do multiple op.search operations - but that does not apply to what I'm after. I'm intercepting the search from SearchView - and would like to specify multiple documents (as file names).

p.s. 2
Note: I'm not asking this on the UI level of IPXV_SearchView - I'm asking only to modify the op.search operation processing.

Good point, thanks. We may add that possibility in the future.

Is this maybe under development? How can I know when this gets implemented?
