Fast convert photos from smartphone to PDF

In "Image To PDF" window (Convert / From Files / Image) add support for:
1) rotate image left/right
I know I can do it later, but it's all about work efficiency. I see a wrong scan, I want to correct it, because later I will have to view all the pages again.
2) support for crop and correct "photo perspective"

Hi psztoch,

please forgive my being a bit obtuse, but I am not sure which method of converting images to PDF you are referring to. Typically one just opens an image in the Editor and it is converted om the fly, just hit save and it is saved as a PDF. There is no dialogue when doing that.

When you refer to the tool you say:

Convert / From Files / Image

But that is not a menu item we have. Can I get a screen shot of this so I can better understand how you are doing the conversion?

One can also use New Document / From Image files, but it is not what you are referring to I believe. I am keen to understand better the process you are speaking of.

onedrive can create such perspective corrections. that is really helpful!

may you consider to apply that feature, of stretching images in some way. or is the software already able to do so?

the screenshot in this thread gives a good example.

Got it.

I see that not only in online tools but most phones now will offer that same option. I floated the idea here and we will have to see what the team think. I will say that because the functionality is available elsewhere, the web site you linked to, even my phone offers it when taking the photo. Because of that, and the need to avoid application "bloat" I cannot say for sure what will be the decision made here, but rest assured whatever comes, or not, it is the result of seriously considering the suggestion.

Good news!

The dev team have accepted your request. I have raised the associated Feature Request ticket. It is for internal use only, however if you were to refer to RT#6174: Feature request :: Editor :: Tool to correct "photo perspective" in correspondence with us then any support staff member should be able to get you a progress report.

I do not have an ETA for delivery of this feature, it will ultimately be at the development team leader's discretion.

I would not regard this as "bloatware" but rather as a very useful feature enhancement and, therefore, I would like to add a vote of support for this development. I would call it "perspective correction" however as it would apply to images sourced many possible ways, not just as photos from phones.

And, yes, one can make these adjustments on one's phone but that can be rather tedious; I am sure you guys can come up with a better UI for doing this.
