0CR - PDF XCHANGE VIEWER free ver. - DOES NOT WORK

OCR- PDF- XCHANGE VIEWER latest free version, doesn't work.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

thanks for the post and report.

When you say it doesn't work, what actually happens? Do you see this dialogue at all?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reference to my post.

a. Yes, I see that OCR dialogue.

b. No error message of any kind had displayed.

c. In addition to my post I would like to notice:

1, The OCR process progress (the green bar) displayed for very short time and disappeared right at the begging of the process.

2. "find" and "search" - aren't work either.

Hello, noam.b

It is well worth noting that the Viewer has been discontinued for nearly a decade now, the "latest release" you are using only contained security patches, but we are no longer developing or improving the Viewer software beyond those minor fixes.

If you are finding issues with the Viewer OCR functions, and it turns out that the issue is a bug, and not a simple misclick in the settings, it will not be fixed in the Viewer. We will instead ask you to update to its successor, the PDF-XChange Editor, so I would first suggest that you give the Editor a try and see how it works for you.

If you do not wish to use the Editor, please send us a copy of the document you are running OCR on, as well as a screenshot of the OCR settings you are using, so that we can try to replicate this, and find where the problem is.
