Virtual Printer with own GUI

Hi there!
Is it possible to use your software to write a custom Virtual Printer? I have to write a "Print2DMS" Virtual Printer which can be used to store documents from different applications by "printing" them to a Document Management System. I'm not able to modify any application, I just want to be able to print from the applications to my Virtual Printer and to process the resulting pdf...
