Fatal error when saving as optimized

Post by JiiKoo74 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 11:41 am

I often have to optimize larger pdf files made by someone else. I often come up with the same error message when trying to save a pdf as optimized. I'm working with non-English version, but I believe the translation of the error message would be: "There was a fatal error during optimization. Error: unknown parameter. The file cannot be saved."

This happens with several different optimization settings.

I'm using version PDF-Exchange Editor 6.0 (build 320.1) and Windows 10.

Thank you for your help.

Hello jiiKoo74,

Welcome to our forums, and thanks for the post!
Build 320.1 is a bit older. Please try to download and install build 331.0 which is the current latest, and the optimization process in it should be much more stable and less prone to such errors.

Regards,
Stefan
