Batch Utility for Editing Bookmarks
Please consider developing a capability that would allow the following bookmark editing function:
Given a PDF file made from a PowerPoint presentation containing 150 slides and already having 150 bookmarks containing unique text strings, support the insertion of a prefix string such as Slide A3-1 through Slide A3-150 at the head of each bookmark.
Currently I do not know of any way to do this editing except through Acrobat directly and manually.
Quite tedious when processing 6000 PDF slides.
All advice and consideration is appreciated.

Hi Hank,
just to expand a little on your explanation - so this would prefix the already existing Bookmark name with an alphanemeric string + numeric suffix that is automatically increased by a Macro ?

Batch Utility for Editing Bookmarks
Yes
In my use case the bookmark tree would have already been created by PowerPoint automatically and editied manually (if required).
The bookmark tree would contain only one bookmark per slide.
Each bookmark would have a unique text string describing the content of the target slide.
Given these preconditions, the "macro" you refer to might simply use a prefix entered by the user such as "Slide A3-" and then inherit or append the number from the slide number the bookmark uses as its target.

OK - thanks Hank - this looks very 'do-able' provided you understand that the action would have to be applied to every bookmark in the file in a common manner - it would be too complex and problematic to start to allow conditions for application etc.
Will advise when ready.

Batch Utility for Editing Bookmarks
Hello Tracker Support,
Was anything ever done to create the batch bookmark edit utility I described in previous posts back in February?
Thanks

Hi Hank,
I have to admit this got 'forgotten' - apologies - it is now scheduled for inclusion in build 3.60106 in approx 2-3 weeks time.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Hank,
Pleased to advise this is now available along with a feature to save the generated PDF to the same location as the original file for most of the wizard options.
