I have been a registered user of PDF XC-Pro for a long time and this is no complaint or real problem - it works fine BUT a wonderful addition to consider would be a feature that allowed one to compress a PDF again somehow. Sometimes I scan a PDF and it gets done at say 200 dpi creating a pretty big PDF file and not the fastest loading one for a website. Cleaner and clearer then it need be maybe. I only find this out or realize it late. If I could take that PDF and 're-compress' or something to end up with a smaller file that I could still view and see that it is clear. Like one does for .jpg images at say, the JPG Optimizer at http://www.xat.com/
Just a thought that would make life so much easier.
Recompress PDF feature

Hi Bob,
its coming in the form of an upgrade to our PDF-Tools Wizard application - this will be a free upgrade to existing users and is a 100% rewrite.
If you would be interested in beta testing - we hope to have a pre-release version out in approx 2-3 weeks and will supply to existing users for comment.
Please email upgrades@tracker-software.com if interested.
thanks
