I have a user with a licensed version of PDF XChange Editor 5.5 build 313.1 and they are creating a PDF from a Word Document. Once they save the the new PDF and open it up you see the "watermark" links in the upper right and left of the PDF. I removed the license and re-added it, restarted it, tested with a different document and go the same results. Example is attached.

In that email, please include the document attached to your post, as well as the license/serial key with which your user is having trouble.

Thanks Patrick, I will do as you suggested. To me it doesn't really seem as though it is a licensing issue as she is the only user with this problem.

Hi Tucker,

I suspect that Patrick is right here - this PDF was created with Version 4 and if the user has a Version 5.5 license, this will not work. Version 5.5 uses a different serial key format, one that was developed well after the final release of Version 4 and so isn't a key that V4 will recognize as valid. Please do send your license key (in plain text) support@pdf-xchange.com, with a link back to this topic, and we will advise further.

Also, do note that it is always best to email directly, regarding licensing issues or problems, as there is little that we can do to help without seeing your license.
