Add image as comment

Is it possible to add an image (like a comment) to an existing PDF file ?

Or do I have to edit the the PDF file itself ?
- ie, convert the PDF to Word > add the image > convert Word document to PDF ?
- I don't have MS Word so what other means could I access/edit the existing PDF file
- Using Libre Office but I do have MS Word Reader (latter does not support editing)
- if I create a DOC file in Libre will PDF-XChange Editor cope with the DOC file

You can do this by using the Stamps tool (via the Tools-menu > Comment and Markup tools > Stamps Palette).
Via the third icon in the toolbar of the" Stamps Palette"-window, you can add a "new" stamp (= your image).
