Does PDF Xchange Pro contain PDF Xchange Editor Pro?

1. Does the latest PDF XChange Pro version also contain the new PDF XChange Editor *Pro version*?

2. Does PDF XChange Editor *replace* PDF XChange viewer in the latest PDF XChange Pro release? When XChange Pro is installed, does it install PDF XChange Editor instead of the Viewer? Is the Editor integrated with PDF XChange Pro the same way the Viewer was in previous versions?

Hi Ryan,

Yes - the Pro bundle package now includes the Editor in it instead of the Viewer and yes the Editor replaced the Viewer.

is the bundle 5.0.272.1 comes with the Editor? as I can't found it in 5.0.272

Besides, will there be any online document for the MSI installer switches for the package with Editor?
currently I use the ADDLOCAL=F_Viewer for unattended install, can editor still work? or I need to use another value like "F_Editor"?

Thanks for the post - the ADDLOCAL=F_Viewer parameter is the same, even for the more recent versions of PDF-XChange PRO that contain the Editor.

I believe the Editor was added into the PRO installers as of build 272, however, we always recommend installing the latest version and build of all our products.

I tried both "PDFX5SA.exe" and MSI of build 272.1
Both file actually didn't include the Editor.
- "PDFX5SA.exe" will ask to download the Editor.
- "PDFXC5_x86.msi" or "PDFXC5_x64.msi" even didn't ask for it

Thus, I don't think the ADDLOCAL=F_Viewer parameter can work anymore. I need to deploy the PDF-XChange Pro with the Editor in unattended mode. Currently, I need prepare the script to install both Pro and editor MSI for it.

I hope TRACKER-Software will update the installer to bundle the editor in the future release.

Thanks for the post - those are not the correct installers. Please try either of the following:

64-bit MSI:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXC5Pro_x64.msi

32-bit MSI:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXC5Pro_x86.msi
