Scanning multiple pages to a single PDF document?

Post by gara56 »

Does anyone know if the latest version of the latest version of PDF-Xchange Pro (5.0.268) updated how multiple documents were scanned to PDF with previous versions--one at a time and then have to import them as described in the link below:

https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... F-document

Or have they changed it with the latest version (5.0.268) --allowing you to scan multiple documents into the into one PDF file without having to either attach/import into one file each time you scan a page.

Thanks.

Hi gara56,

thanks for the post. In the current build (268 - Drivers and 209 for the Viewer) the functionality around this has not changed. This is addressed in V3. You can have a document open and select Document --> Insert Pages --> From Images --> ... This will open a similar dialogue as now for creating pages from images - the difference it it no longer needs to be a separate file that gets appended or merged - it is inserted directly into the current document.

Look here to access the beta of V3 and try it for yourself: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/company/new ... s/view/120
