Inserting images into a pdf file

Is it possible to insert images (jpg, gif, etc) into a pdf file directly in PDF-XChange Viewer using "Document->Insert Pages" or something equivalent? To do it now, it seems I have to use PDF Tools, create a new pdf from images, and then go back to Viewer and do an Inset Pages. It would be much more convenient to just insert the images directly (the way Acrobat allows it to be done).

Hello atriolo,

You can not directly insert the images, by e.g. selecting them from a folder, but you can create a new document from images directly in the Viewer (if your images are scans of whole pages), or select to create new stamps from images - and then you can place your images more than once in any PDF you select.

A direct image insertion feature would be available in ver3 of the Viewer.

Please test for yourself and you will see that we support pretty much any major image format you could use - and would be able to create a new PDF document from it.
