Typewriter default font
I'm evaluating the free version of PDF-Xchange Viewer. The default font for the typewriter function is stuck on Courier New, 12 pt. I've read the HOW_defformat.zip document and have tried the instructions about a dozen times. The typewriter font always defaults back to Courier New, 12 pt. no matter how often I invoke "Set Current Appearance as Default". Is this a deficiency only in the free version? I do not want to buy a license if this is an issue that can not be resolved.

Re: Typewriter default font
There are two different defaults — the object properties and the text properties. The text properties are set from the text format submenu.

Re: Typewriter default font
We have recently upgraded to the latest version of PDF XChange Viewer - Version 2.0 (Build 53.0), and seem to be having a problem retaining the default text formatting font for the Typewriter tool.
Importing the previously saved settings did not appear to work. Neither did setting the current text formatting as default work.
The current settings are being captured, as they are being applied via Text Formatting - Apply Default Text Formatting. They are however not being retained, despite selecting Text Formatting - Set Current Formatting As Default.
As these settings were used and found to be working in the previous release (Build 52.0), is this a version specific issue?
Please refer to the attached document.

Re: Typewriter default font
I see the same issue in Build 53 — my default font has reverted from Verdana to Arial, and changing the default font from the toolbar or menu does not stick.

Re: Typewriter default font
I have the same problem: it is not possible to set a new default text format in build 53 (portable).
I reinstalled the build 52 (portable) and it works fine.
