What is the difference?
I get the the keep selected command, with that disabled you go back to your previous tool...
How about Keep Mode? What modes is this referring to? Exclusive mode? Or selection mode for the selection tool?

Keep Selected (ID:cmd.tool.keepSelected) is used for comments. Keep Mode (ID:cmd.tool.editFields.keepMode) is used for form fields. Although they are used for different objects, the function itself is the same. When each setting is enabled, the same type of comment or form field can be added consecutively. If disabled, you must select the comment or form field type each time.
