Change font color of all text in pdf

Post by kumar »

Hi,
How can I change the font color of all text in PDF at once? I tried the edit 'Select Text', 'Edit', 'Selection' but I could not select the entire text in the pdf. Thanks.

Hello, kumar

If you open the "content" pane, available in the left sidebar of the editor, you can click the menu dropdown, and choose "select > all text":

This will allow you to make bulk changes to every "text" object within the document, including changing the font color. Do note that this will not have an effect on "image" or "shape" based text content however.

Hi all,

Just for additional info...

To change the font color of the text in the whole document (or if you like just for particular pages), you can also use the "Replace Fonts" feature in the Convert-ribbon.
In the "Replace Fonts"-dialog-box, click "Add...".
In the "Add Rules"-dialog-box,
. at "Look for", mark the "Color"-check-box and leave it to "Auto"
. at "Replace with" also mark the "Color"-check-box and set it to the desired color.
Click OK and OK

Kind regards.

Willy

i was checking the forum for this feature, the option to replace all fonts color in a document is great. I have various books which were scanned using acrobat clear scan and the colors of those fonts can vary a lot in black/grey spectrum. So with that option is really neat to make all of them pure black.

What i was wondering is if it would be possible to make a quick action like "change all fonts to specific color", so i don't have to manually go and add all fonts for each document.

You do not have to add the fonts.
See my print screen.
