"Font ... is invalid: text cannot be mapped to Unicode"

Post by Jensen Head »

When trying to save a PDF document to PDF/A, I get an error about saving Arial-formatted text objects. The error causes the document to be unable to be saved to PDF/A. Anyway, I want to change the interfering text objects by assigning them some other fonts that won't be a problem when saved. However, how to find all such objects without iterating through thousands of objects in the "Content" panel?

PS: From what I can see, the topic of embedding fonts is one of the busiest on this forum. Users have questions over and over again about how to embed fonts and why they don't embed:
It is strange that the problem of incorrect display of documents is so popular in the case of a format that was created for exactly that - the recipient of the document should see exactly what was sent to him.
