Convert Black Rectangles to White
I Converted PDF to WORD to net the Desired BUT would love an answer to ......
A PDF Form has multi-pages with large Black Rectangles - White Print -- just as This Forum's Pg 1.....
Is there a way to Whiten Most of these Black rectangles' area (ie) in Comment use Rectangle to cursor-surround the desired area and choose White as Fill color.
I KNOW THAT's impossible but it's simply the idea.....
Thanks as always!

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
If I understand it correctly, it goes about Text fields in a PDF-Form ?
In that case:
1) Activate the Fields pane (via View > Panes > Fields)
2) Activate the Properties pane (via View > Panes > Properties Pane)
3) In the Fields pane, click Options > Select > Text Boxes
4) In the Properties pane (showing the Text Field Properties), click at "Border Width" and change its value to "0 pt"
Does that help? In case not, can you post an example PDF ?
Kind regards.

Hello Willy Van Nuffel,
Thanks for the help!
Indeed @CraigS26 - you will need to edit the form fields before doing the conversion, and I believe Willy's post above shows you the way to do it!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
Ref JPG in this Reply / In Preview Post I Had to Clk On Image to make it larger to View .....So far Nothing in the Far Rt Properties Pane is Active - No typical drop-dn choices, Cannot Change Width Nbrs, etc.
I Hi-lighted the Text in Black area to Get Text Properties Pane Values
Happy to use the WORD docs as this was mostly to learn. MANY Thanks for the suggestions!!

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
Hello,
I think I found the PDF you are talking about.
The steps I followed to turn the text of the section titles into black and removing the black rectangles.
1) Activate the Content pane (View > Panes > Content)
2) Activate the Properties pane (View > Panes > Properties Pane)
3) In the Content pane
--- click the > sign at each of the five pages to show their content
--- maintain the CTRL-key and then click each of the (six) section titles to select them
4) In the Properties pane
--- modify the "Fill Color" from white to black (or some other color)
5) In the Content pane, click the Options button > Select > Shapes (in this specific case = the black rectangles)
--- press the Delete-key to remove the black rectangles
That should be it.
EDIT: I removed the document content (images). It could be sensitive.

Thanks for that Willy.
Craig, it should be relatively simple once you understand what tools to use as Willy mentions:

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
Many Thanks, Willy ... Paul !!
The key was Clk'ing the > by each page in Content to see each member; Hi-lighting the member "Path" captured the Black Rectangle and a Drop-Dn Color choice became active. Black to White Fill Then worked.
I once told Paul I don't think any of you guys that understand this app so well are from Earth, BUT I'm glad you're visiting when I need you.
Thanks again for a great lesson.

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
Thanks for the reply.
You decided to modify the color of the rectangles from black to white, that also works, but because these rectangles are no longer visible you can also delete them, like I proposed to do. Up to your choice.
Happy to be on earth.
Kind regards.

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White

I was hoping for an "alien" emoji, "Mr Green" will have to do, though I'm not at all sure what that is supposed to convey.

Re: Convert Black Rectangles to White
I had found that Shapes instruction BUT I liked the resulting thin rectangle border around what became Black Typewriter Text of the former White Sections Names. I also cost myself a little time typically forgetting you often have to hi-light Text or block to "activate" the Properties Values and function blocks. Again, Great lesson !!
