How to remove auto-open print dialog trigger when loading certain PDFs?

Post by mattad »

When I open certain PDFs in XChange Editor or Viewer then immediately a print dialog opens.

I guess that the creator of this PDFs setup a certain flag in PDF header.

How can I get rid of it (forever)?
Which PDF property in header do I have to change to which value?

If this is not possible:
How can I disable this in XChange Editor or Viewer?

Not 100% sure, but look into File > Document Properties > Initial View.

Most probably, at Open Action you will see an Action Type = Custom.

Change this "Custom" to "None" and click OK.

Save the PDF.

There is a good chance it is a JavaScript, you could always turn it off...
