Post by tunggul »

Hello,

I used PDF Xchange Pro, and I am looking for feature like Acrobat's shared review feature.
Can anyone help me please?

Thanks,

Hello Tunggul,

I am afraid that we do not have a similar feature, but you can always export comments to a data file -e-mail the fdf/xfdf file - and then import it in another file (or another copy of the same document). You can import multiple such files in the same PDF - so if two files with exported comment from two separate users are loaded in the same PDF - this will effectively merge them.

Best,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan,
I'll do that...

Is there any plan to add this feature?

Hello Tunggul,

We have this feature on our radar, but not for the immediate future.
I can not comment further on if or when it could be implemented.

Best,
Stefan

Not really is the honest answer...

Like other collaboration tools, this requires users putting their documents in the cloud in a manner that we could access. We do not host client data and do not want to.

That has been and continues to be a contributing factor to not moving forward with this.

It may happen eventually if/when we decide how to do it properly without exposing ourselves to the inherent risks of handling other people's data.

I would not suggest you hold your breath.
Best regards
