The snapshot tool saves the snapshot to the clipboard. I think it would be helpful if there would be an option "save snapshot to image-file".
What's your opinion?

Re: Snapshot: Save snapshot as a file?
Hello Peter2,
Thank you for your suggestion but my opinion is that it would be strange for a PDF Editor to save the clipboard as an image and not as PDF.
You may however try this option:

No. I would be only the second step of two. The clipboard is never the final target - I have to do something with it. And saving as image (e.g. for HTML) is used very often, I suppose....that it would be strange for a PDF Editor to save the clipboard as an image ...

Re: Snapshot: Save snapshot as a file?
Good news: The feature that you are looking for is already there (tested with build 365).
Make the snapshot:
- in the Home tab, activate the Snapshot icon
- draw a rectangle around the desired selection (and release the mouse button)
Continue with this:
- right-click on the selection
- click "Export"
- click "Export to image(s)"
- select the options for the desired output
- click OK
Is this what you where looking for?
Kind regards.
Willy

Re: Snapshot: Save snapshot as a file?
Thanks for pointing that out Willy!
I am keen to hear if this satisfies the original concern.
