I have two separate PDFs (eg odd.pdf and even.pdf) and wish to combine/merge them as follows:
After combination/merging
(a) odd.pdf will be pages 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 etc
(b) even.pdf will be pages 2, 4, 6, 8 10 etc
Is this possible with PDF-Tools? Split/Merge PDFs tool does not appear to permit this.

Hello Victor,
We do not have such a feature, however, you can do this using a Java Script and the Editor. Please take a look at the following forum topic to find the instructions and the script:

Re: How to combine
Hello, Peter2
It seems that the thread is no longer available, in any case, I happen to have the Js that would have been mentioned there, here: Simply open this folder, and look at the text file within, this provides instructions for how to use it.
First, ensure that the two of them are the exact same length (this tool will not work properly if doc A is 9 pages and doc B is 7 pages, for example, add blank pages to one or the other before you merge them if they are not the same length, then manually remove those pages after using the tool above.
Once you have made sure they are the same size, merge the two documents together, and then click the new button on the "Add-on tools" toolbar, inside the editor.
Kind regards,

Re: How to combine
Since this topic is brought up again I want to say that operation requested in original post can be performed in PDF Tools with "Every N pages from different document" option of "Split/Merge Documents" action as shown on attached screenshot.
This option will take pages one by one from each document passed for processing, but if the pages count is different, no new pages will be inserted to document to equalize pages count in all documents.
