List of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Does the software keep a list of custom keyboard shortcuts created by the user?
Thanks!

Re: List of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Hello BXR,
All such shortcuts would be remembered by the Editor, and if you e.g. export your settings to a file - this will include the custom shortcuts, but you can't e.g. export them in say a text file list.
Regards,
Stefan

Yes. You can export a list of all assigned hotkeys to CSV. This list will also include any defaults you have not changed. See the screenshot below.
Right click on any toolbar → click "customize toolbar" → click "all shortcuts" in left column → click export to CSV

Re: List of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Now that is a good question!
I don't believe one can do that. I will ask the devs about this, but the Export was done very begrudgingly, if I remember correctly it may even have been because they anticipated this request...
If memory serves me correctly (and I cannot guarantee it does) there was some concern about importing a modified CSV breaking things.
Anyway, let me touch base with the devs and see how close I am to the truth

Thanks Paul.
Let me ask a similar question.
What is the correct way to save and reinstall your own/personal shortcut-settings?
I don't understand exactly when and why, but once in a while all my personal shortcut settings are deleted. Is this caused by updates or does other reasons exist for these deletions?

Re: List of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Hi Env,
the best way is to "Export settings to file":
You can easily import them again to restore things.
I am interested in why you lose your settings. These are stored in the Windows Registry, the only way I know for this to happen is if some other process is changing your registry. If you want to dig deeper into why this is happening let me know, there are some registry monitoring tools that may shed some light on the situation.
If you are happy to use the Import/Export settings then we can leave things as they are.

Re: List of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
And the word is that we will implement a way to import your exported shortcuits CSV.
As usual, the ticket is for reference only, it is for internal use only, so ask here for updates regarding RT#6249: Feature request :: Editor :: Import keyboard shortcut from exported CSV if interested.
I hope that helps.

Hello victorblue,
I see that a work item has been created for the ticket, and the ticket assigned to a developer, however it is not yet marked as resolved. As soon as it is - we will post an update here for you!
Kind regards,
Stefan
