Built in image editor

Post by Puffolino »

When reading the new functions of the build 362 I was wondering there's an image editor available (which now has a crop function) :) - but only when importing images. :(

Why this editor can't be called for a selected image within a document? For me cropping would be a useful option in many cases.

Hello, Puffolino

At the moment this function is only available while creating a new document from images. It may be improved to work with existing images later on, but for the moment it would not work with an existing image.

How do you do this?

I have been looking for this for ages and found a workaround

Found it!

It would be useful if we could employ this on eixsting images and shapes.

Hello eddablin,

I believe we exchanged a few e-mails as well!
I am checking with our devs now whether they plan to include this editor for existing images in the content of PDF files.

Kind regards,
Stefan
