Quick Tools Toolbar Robustness
I find the Quick Tools toolbar does not survive some application shut-downs and certainly not an application crash and re-start. So, the user must start all over again building new ones.

Hi PHK,
Could you please clarify what do you mean "...shut-downs and certainly not an application crash and re-start"?
Do you mean that only the Quick Tools toolbar disappears?

Re: Quick Tools Toolbar Robustness
I meant that if I purposely close the app myself or if app crashes (it does that sometimes), my custom-built QT may not be "there" when I re-open the app.Dimitar - Tracker Supp wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 1:58 pm Hi PHK,

Yes, my custom-built QT disappears and only the default QT is there. Should I be saving settings after I build a QT?Dimitar - Tracker Supp wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 1:58 pm

Hello, PHK
That is entirely expected, UI customizations are saved when the application is closed, during the closing process, so if you have made cusomizations, and then the app is forced to close improperly, or it crashes, these changes will most often not be saved, and you will need to start again.
Also, regarding the crashing you mentioned, could I ask you to please send us an email, with a link to this topic about that. Ideally, we would like to see a crash dump from your system when that happens next, if you could prepare one to send with the email, that would be great!

OK, I will train myself to save QTs like other UI customizations, no problem.TrackerSupp-Daniel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 4:52 pm ...

Hmmm, well, OK. I can crash-out the app several times a day when I am using it intensively. If anyone can bust an app, I can. I will try to send some dump files when I can.TrackerSupp-Daniel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 4:52 pm Also, regarding the crashing you mentioned, could I ask you to please send us an email, with a link to this topic about that. Re: Quick Tools Toolbar Robustness
Looking at this, Daniel, I confess that I do not know how to create or even find a dump file. I looked at the link to which you directed me but I could not find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting" as referenced in the article in the registry of my WIN 11 O/S. That stopped me right there.
Any advice?

Hello, PHK
If the key does not already exist, you would simply need to create it. If the hands on method is too complex, we also offer a hands-off method that performs nearly the entire process for you, simply download a file, double click it, and allow changes to the registry. Then you reproduce the crash, and a dump will appear in this location.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
