Word-like field

Is there a way to type like with the typewriter, just that the whole page is automatically a field, just like in a word document?
Maybe also in which TAB / shift+ TAB functions as indent/outdent ?

I think that the "add text" tool is what you are looking for here:

This would allow you to place a text object in the upper left corner area of the page, and then begin typing as you are used to in a word processor. Beyond that, we do not offer a method to accomplish this exactly like Word does.
