When the default layer is changed, the last of the pasted contents is not automatically selected. SOLVED

Hello all,

With the default layer changed, i.e., the Document Info Bar for the default layer is displayed, I found that immediately after pasting content via the clipboard, only the last content is not automatically selected. When pasting a large amount of content, it is difficult to notice if only one item is not selected. The issue is that it is just not automatically selected, so you can work around it by manually selecting it again.

The verification procedure is divided into three steps: Step 1 prepares the content, Step 2 shows that it works correctly when no layers are used, and Step 3 shows that the issue occurs when layers are used.

I have captured screen of verification process for your reference, please see the attached video for details. The corresponding time code is also listed at the beginning of each verification procedure.
([MM:SS] "MM" stands for minutes and "SS" for seconds).

Step 1

• [00:00]-[00:25]
  Create content by drawinging seven rectangular comments and flattening them. Remember that you drew the rightmost rectangle last.
• [00:25]-[00:34]
  Activate the content edit mode and copy all the contents to the clipboard.

Step 2

• [00:34]-[00:42]
  Paste them into a new document.
• [00:42]-[00:45]
  When the content edit mode is turned on, all seven contents will be automatically selected.
• [00:45]-[00:50]
  Make sure all seven contents move together when you adjust their positions.

Step 3

• [00:50]-[01:07]
  Create a new document, create a new layer and set it as default.
• [01:07]-[01:11]
  Paste from the clipboard.
• [01:11]-[01:17]
  When the content edit mode is turned on, six contents will be automatically selected except for the right-most rectangle you drew last. Make sure that when you adjust the position, only the six contents move and not the rightmost rectangle that was not automatically selected.

As for the layer function, I just used it today for the first time, so I am not sure if this issue is the intended or unintended behavior. It is very possible that I am operating in the wrong way, in which case, please forgive me.

Thank you for the report, I have reproduced this issue and created a formal bug report. You are correct that this is not working as intended, and all the items in question should be selected after pasting.
