Is adding custom properties to a document supported:

At the moment we do not support creating additional properties, and to my knowledge we do not plan to offer such, but I will pass this request along to see if perhaps I am mistaken.

[edit:] It appears I was mistaken, The dev team has said that it should be possible to add this, though we cannot promise a timeline.
