Option to save size of stamp / signature

Post by Anto »

Hi,

Would it be possible to add the possibility to save the current size of a stamp or signature ?

For the moment it is not possible so you have to resize them all with external tools and doing so often end up diminishing the quality of them if we need to have a bigger stamp / signature sometime.

Thank you !

My solution would be to create copies of the desired stamp in different sizes.

So, please try this:
- in the Home-ribbon, click the small triangle on the Stamp icon and then "Stamps palette"
- put the desired stamp from the Stamps palette onto a page of your PDF
- resize that stamp on the page to the desired size and keep it selected
- now, in the Stamps palette, click the Add New button and "New Stamp from Selection..."
- introduce a new Stamp Title and click OK

You can create as many copies as you need.

Keep us posted.

Yes i know that we can do this :) but when you have 30+ stamps it would be better to have a setting retaining the "Style" or size of specific stamps like the other tools in the application.

Thank you foryour answer

What about making them vector based?

Then you should be able to size them any size on placement without degrading the quality on resize.

Stamps can be made from .jpg, .png, or .pdf. Of the three only .pdf can be vector based. Would it be practical to remake the stamps using PDF sources? Of course PDFs can contain bitmap images, you'd need to make sure all the PDF content is vector based, but that might be doable.
