I have 2 questions concerning old office Versions.
1. I have still a Copy of Office 2003 running. What ist the newest Version supporting office 2003.
2. When I purchase a license, is it possible to run the older Versions with this license?
Many thanks in advance
Pico

Re: Office 2003 Plug in and new Licenses
Hello Pico,
Office 2003 is now 18 years old!!! So I do not really remember which version of our software was supporting this. I would assume V4 or V5. However a license which you can purchase now uses a new style of serial numbers that would not be recognized by such older versions of our software.
What I would recommend you to do is to consider updating to at least office 2010/2013. There might be some very cheap second hand CD/DVDs with those versions sold at auction websites.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
thanks für your Reply.
I tested Version 5. But didn't know what the latest Version working with Office2003 is.
It is working pretty good, bit I don't have a license. I was just testing the DEMO, because I need it für large documents. I still had the old download here from a former test.
Up to now I was using Acrobat.
BTW: V5 is still running well on Windows 10
OK, the License is not downsizeable. That would be nice.
I will by a new version and see what possible

Hello Pico,
Glad to hear that V4 still works - but unfortunately we can't get you a license key for that version any more
Kind regards,
Stefan

Sorry I was wrong. It was V5. I changed it in my reply.
Thanks.

Additional Information:
V9 works not with Word2003. The main Problem ist the AddIn.
Changing one thing is always followed by a couple of other things.
Get devorced and you realize your house is gone too.
But it is what it is.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Pico,
Glad I could provide the info above. It's just that Office 2003 is now ... old enough to vote!
As time and technologies change - there comes a point where we have to stop supporting older versions and only focus on more recent ones!
Kind regards,
Stefan
