I have scanned a paper document. This produced one pdf file per page. I would now like to combine them all in a single pdf file. Is that possible with the free version ?
I thought the Merge feature would do this, but I see only one pdf page available to merge, and no way to add others.
I also saw a feature called Combine Files Into a Single Document mentioned on the forum, but I can't find it on my program.
Version 8, build 334.
Thank you.
Can one merge several documents into one with the free version ? SOLVED

Hi Clairvaux,
I am afraid that merging documents does require a license, be it through the Thumbnails pane drag and drop, or the Combine Files Into a Single Document feature.
The latter is available in the File --> New Document menu, or from Windows Explorer when you select multiple PDF files: You get a visual clue as to what requires a license when you have none, such items having the small shopping cart icon you see in the first screen shot.
I hope that helps.

Thanks for the super-fast response, that's very helpful, I'm working on an urgent document !
The right-click option works great -- as long as one accepts the watermarks.
However, I can't find the File / New document menu. I use the classical UI. Or am I not supposed to see it, since I have the free version ? I have chosen to hide the paid-for commands (a few of them are still shown, though, with the very convenient shopping cart icon -- great feature).

Uncheck "Hide all licensed features from toolbars and menus" and you should be good to go.

Though you do know the use of these features without a license will water mark the document. Right? Please make a copy first...

Yes, thank you for reminding me.Paul - Tracker Supp wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 10:26 pm Though you do know the use of these features without a license will water mark the document. Right? Please make a copy first...
The balance between free and paid features is quite reasonable, and the relevant user interface points are very finely tuned. At least, the watermark doesn't say "You're a criminal for using this feature"...
