The large pdf file was not truncated after being overwritten...

Hello,

we use PDF XChange Editor Plus in our company, but have issues opening some pdf files with the program.

The following error message is displayed:





After opening the document only the logo is shown, the text is gone.
We have tried different settings but without success.

This kind of pdf files/documents can be opened error-free with other pdf programs, even with the browsers such Chrome or Edge...
There is also no issue opening this pdf files with the version 2012 of PDF XChange Editor.

I would be thankful for your help.

Thanks for the sample. When I opened your file I got a different message, still an error with the file but a recoverable one:

Saving for you with the message you have may cause data loss. We want you to update to the latest version of the Editor and test again please. Help --> Check for Updates should offer you 8.0.311.0. We need to know how your files work in that version.
