Hello Ovg,

We are sorry about this one. While testing the new engine, we've experienced crashes while OCRing with Russian language - strange case, but this doesn't happen with other Cyrillic language types. The problem was localized and is being investigated right now. If all goes well, it will be fixed till the next build that should be held in a few weeks - then the language will be available to download and update.

Hi Dromandon,

Unfortunately, as I understand, the fix didn't work correctly and we're now waiting on a fix from the developers of the library that we use for this new OCR. It's something that has to be fixed directly in their code and, as a result, there's little we can do for the time being.

I'll ask the development team if they have any news.

Hello All,

As an alternative, you can try the Bulgarian ( Български ) language.

It will help the OCR to recognize the Russian symbols.
