Hi,
in build 327.0 of PDF-XChange Pro v7 we encountered the following problem. Printing to the PDF-XChange Standard printer and choosing a custom pre-defined page size creates pdf files with dozens of pages, each one column wide.
Steps to reproduce:
- create a new excel document and fill it with some data
- choose the PDF-XChange Standard printer, goto the printer properties and select a predefined page format like B2 (JIS) or some selfdefined page format
- print and view the PDF
- view the page breaks in Excel
This problem happens to some of the predefined page formats and also to any self defined page format (which we use a lot).
The problem is mitigatable if you do not use a predefined page format but instead set the page size using the size parameters.
The result looks like this:
Is there a way our users can use the predefined page formats with Excel that we centrally deploy over registry keys via group policy? I guess this is a bug which might need correction.
Thank you in advance,
Joerg Gerlach

Hello Joerg,
I've asked a colleague working on our printing drivers to take a look and advise why this is happening. He will review the topic directly and will post some further advice, or ask you some questions if necessary!
Regards,
Stefan

Hello Joerg,
We have reproduced the issue. I will investigate it and come back with some resolution soon.
