search and highlight text in PDF by integrating with PHP

Post by kunjanarora »

Hi,

We are from India and We are making a project in PHP.

In this we have few PDF files and few text strings. These text string we want to find/search it from the PDF file. As we find them we got to highlight the text in different colors and number these text as number 1 number 2 and so on. All this should be done by our software integrated with your software.

For this purpose we require your software. But for this which product is required we dont know. We have to integrate your software with our software and result should be an edited PDF. Please tell how to proceed forward to get your support.

Best,

HI kunjanarora,

thanks for the post and for looking into PDF-XChange.

I suggest you want an SDK: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/developers

Of these the Editor SDK is most likely the best fit for what you need: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/produc ... editor-sdk

The SDK is fully functional as it, even without a license. The caveat is that until licensed it will water mark all documents you work with. This means you can download and install the SDK on a development workstation (Supports Vista through to Win 10) and have full access to all functions while assessing the SDK. We will help you because we want to see you success with the SDK. Help is available through the forums (Developer forums are the place to start looking for help: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... m.php?f=52

Once you have successfully built you application and are sure that you have the right product, simply purchase a license, we send you a key that you inject into your code, recompile and you are done.

The SDK supports a number of languages, PHP is not one of them however as it is a server side scripting language so you would need to use one of the supported languages and hook your PHP pages into that.

For further technical questions please email support@pdf-xchange.com and sales@pdf-xchange.com for licensing questions.

I hope that helps.
Best regards
