Re: Build 318 is almost ready ...
Hi gate1975mlm,
New things are good!
I am testing a release candidate version of 318 and certainly like the new features.
This version is for internal use and testing only though - as it has not been thoroughly tested yet for stability, and can't be provided to anyone outside Tracker Software for now. It should be available for everyone next week if testing goes smoothly.
Regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan. I previously requested for an update of the currently greyed 'New Window' function. Will it be included in this update?

Hello kongyiu9998,
The build I have is from 6 Sept - so it's still not the final version but that "New Window" menu item is still not active.
Regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your reply. In fact, I have posted quite a number of times about this issue. I hope that this feature will soon be active because it really makes reading and annotating e-books much more convenient. Is it possible that this will be on the agenda for the next update? Thank you very much.

I am sure it won't be, but you can download the latest build 318 now to see for yourself what's new and what's not included.kongyiu9998 wrote:Is it possible that the 'New Window' function will be on the agenda for the next update?

Doesn't this thread https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 62&t=26979 address this, or at least offer a pretty good alternative?

Re: Build 318 is almost ready ...
It sometimes takes a day or two for the devs to put the details of the changelog together.
This is also one of the largest service releases with new additions and additional functionality - particularly in regards XFA forms support we have ever issued - so it may take a little longer than usual.

Hi Claude. Thanks for your advice but I am afraid that your suggestion isn't an alternative. In fact, I have written 2 posts on the function I desired for long:
1. https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 62&t=26726
2. https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 62&t=26373
You may check them to learn more about that.

I think Adobe reader also has the same function which is, indeed, very useful for reading and annotating long pdf. I hope that it will be available soon.

Hi kongyiu9998,
I cannot guarantee that this can be done for build 319, but I will ask the development team to see.
Cheers,

Hello Tracker support
This topic/announcement is actually a little bit misleading.
Build 318.0 has been released for a while, and in the meantime we already have build 318.1
So, rename or unpin from the top of the list ?
Thanks for considering.

Hi Willy,
Topic changed and the status is no longer an announcement - so this is now a normal post and will "drop down" with time.
Cheers,
Stefan
