Delete Hyperlink

Delete Hyperlink
How can I delete a hyperlink that wasn't developed with the hyperlink tool. I tried covering up the hyperlink with an object (rectangle) but the hyperlink bled through.

Can you please send us one such sample file so that we can take a look?
If there is no real link object - then most likely there is text in the file that the Editor recognizes as a link. You can turn this feature on/off via "Edit -> Preferences -> Page Text -> Create links from URLs in page text".
